I began studying with Paul Burns a few years ago ... While there are many things I relish from my lessons with Paul, including his warmth, his knowledge and his musicality, it is his unique approach to piano technique which emphasizes muscle relaxation, great flexibility and economy of effort, all of which result in greater ease of playing. I started learning this technique while studying a Chopin Etude I had never played before. I was amazed at the results. I wish I had learned his technique decades ago. But I am thoroughly enjoying the challenge and results of learning something new and exciting.”

"My lessons with Mr. Burns were very informative, interesting, and above all, they gave me more motivation to practice which improved my piano playing immensely. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is serious about the piano. His demonstrations of certain passages, his humor, and patience were very beneficial in making me a much better piano player. Taking lessons from Mr. Burns was a very enjoyable experience!”      ~ Lorraine Tamm

THE WHITNEY RESTAURANT, DETROIT, MICHIGAN:   "Paul performed classical piano music six nights a week for nearly two years in our Great Hall during our dinner hours. His work was always very well received by our guests as well as our management team. His versatility enabled him to play music that spanned the entire classical spectrum. People with even the slightest familiarity with classical music could find something to enjoy because of his wide repertoire. I highly recommend Paul Burns to any establishment interested in providing entertainment for their guests.”

GRAND LIDO RESORT AND HOTEL, NEGRIL, JAMAICA:   "Paul Burns was the pianist at the Grand Lido Hotel during the Grand Opening of the hotel in February, 1990. He performed classical piano music in our gourmet restaurant, “Piacere”, six nights a week. He was very cooperative, reliable, and pleasant throughout his time with us, and we have no reservation in recommending him to any establishment interested in fine quality music presented in an artistic manner.”
